Scope and contact
This policy covers Fleet Compliance Manager (FCM), our desktop fleet and appointment management application. Contact cacarbtesting@gmail.com or 916-798-8400 with privacy questions. Our SMS program has a separate SMS Privacy notice.
Information used
FCM stores business records entered or imported by authorized staff, including customer and contact details, vehicle identifiers, test results, due dates, appointments and related notes. Optional billing, device inventory and messaging features process the records needed for those functions.
Google Calendar access and purpose
When the account owner connects Google Calendar, FCM requests permission to read and manage calendar events. It reads event identifiers, titles, dates, times, locations and descriptions from the selected calendar for appointment display and synchronization. FCM can create, update and delete appointments and send invitations to selected recipients. Event notes may include vehicle year, make, model, VIN, plate, unit and staff-entered notes. Only connect a calendar you are authorized to manage.
Sharing and invitations
Google processes event data submitted through its Calendar service. Invited recipients and people with access to the calendar may see event details and the guest list according to Google's settings. Staff should review recipients and notes before sending. Other configured providers process information when their billing, email, messaging or transfer features are used. Google Calendar data is not sold or used for advertising, data brokerage or training general-purpose AI models. We follow Google's API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use restrictions.
Storage and safeguards
FCM keeps its working records and Calendar connection settings on the operator's computer. Google sign-in provides authorization tokens; FCM's Calendar integration does not collect your Google password. Local records and connection settings may also be present in database backups and computer-transfer packages. Operator-selected cloud storage, such as Dropbox, may hold those files. Protect the computer, backup locations and transfer files; do not share them publicly. This policy does not promise that every local database or backup is encrypted.
Retention and deletion
Records remain in FCM and its backups until removed through business record-management procedures. We retain information as needed for the services and applicable recordkeeping obligations. Contact us to request access, correction or deletion; we will review the request, verify authority and explain any retention requirement. Deletion from a working database does not automatically remove backup copies, Google Calendar events or invitations already delivered to recipients.
Your choices
Calendar use is optional. You can revoke FCM's access in your Google Account's third-party connections settings. Revocation stops future authorized API access but does not automatically delete previously stored records or events. Contact us for help removing retained data. Material changes to how Google data is used will be disclosed before the new use, with additional consent where required.
